EnviroFlux offers our clients a turnkey mass flux analysis service. Our core technology is our patented Passive Flux Meter™ (PFM) solution. In most cases, this solution is the easiest and most cost effective method for quantifying mass flux at a site. However, we can also determine mass flux using alternative methods such as the integral pumping test and transect of multilevel samplers. It is this versatility that makes EnviroFlux the “mass flux experts”.

A typical PFM project includes the following steps:

1. Site characterization consultation
   Decide on the number and location of monitoring wells as well as the duration of testing period.
   
   
2. Installation and retrieval of PFMs
   The PFMs are usually left in the monitoring wells from one to four weeks. In most cases the installation and retrieval of the PFMs each require only one-day site visits.
   
   
3. Lab analysis
   The samples are analyzed to determine the concentration of contaminants absorbed into the PFM and the amount of tracers leached from the PFM.
   
   
4. Detailed report of findings
